I am a Certified Family Law Specialist working with individuals going through the process of divorce or legal separation. I also draft and review prenuptial agreements for people who want to protect assets (i.e. business, real property). I also work with unmarried parents who need child custody or child support issues resolved. I am also a trained mediator and will work with couples who want to stay out of court and resolve their differences between themselves.
Lerner-Poole, LLP is a boutique law firm specializing in family law issues. We work with clients in resolving their family law issues (divorce, custody, support, asset division) through mediation, collaboration or litigation. We also draft and review prenuptial agreements for individuals wanting to contract out of California's community property laws and protect assets acquired before or during marriage. Stacey Poole is a Certified Family Law Specialist who has exclusively practiced family law since 1999. We work with other professionals (i.e. forensic accountants, actuaries, other attorneys, financial planners, mental health professionals) to assist our clients in resolving their disputes. Stacey has a master's degree in taxation and is a trained mediator. Lerner-Poole, LLP regularly represents clients pro bono through the Bar Association of San Francisco's Volunteer Legal Services Program and she regularly volunteers as a settlement master for the San Francisco Unified Court. In her free time, Stacey is actively involved with the Rotary Club of San Francisco and the Junior League of San Francisco.
If you have a client or colleague that is considering divorce or believes that their spouse is considering divorce, please feel free to refer them to me so that he/she can begin to consider their legal rights and responsibilities. If a client/colleague is served with divorce or other family law proceeding documents, they should see a family law attorney immediately. If a client or colleague is getting married, he or she may want to consider a prenuptial agreement in order to protect a business or real estate. A prenuptial agreement can also reduce litigation and conflict, as a litigious divorce can be financially and emotionally devastating.
If you would like to know more about what I do, or would like to see how we can work together, please feel free to contact me to set up coffee or lunch so that I can learn more about your business.
